Cebora MIG MAG welding

When welding, an arc is drawn between the workpiece and a continuously melting electrode. This electrode is called welding wire and its thickness varies between 0.8 and 16 millimetres. The welding wire is usually spooled on a reel and weighs between 0.5 and 15 kg. MIG welding can only be carried out with solid welding wires. The arc that is drawn is surrounded by an inert protective gas. MIG stands for Metal Inert Gas. MIG welding can be semi-mechanised or fully mechanized.
The difference between MIG welding and MAG welding is that with MAG welding, a filled welding wire can also be used instead of just a solid welding wire as in MIG welding. The other difference is that in MAG welding, a so-called active shielding gas is used. This is where the name MAG comes from, which stands for Metal Active Gas. As carbon dioxide (CO2) is often used as the active gas in MAG welding, MAG welding is also called CO2 welding.

Toolnation's Cebora MIG range

The most compact welding machine in our range is the Cebora 160. This welding machine has a maximum welding current of 160 amps and is supplied with a gas bottle with a capacity of 10 litres. The Cebora 160 is the most widely used welding machine in the Netherlands and is often found in workshops and by professionals who perform professional welding. The welding tension can be adjusted in seven different levels, and the two-roll wire feeder guides the welding wire effortlessly over a length of up to three metres.
Toolnation also has advanced welding equipment for specialized work, such as the Cebora Bravo 2235-T. This welder can be set to a low welding voltage with a maximum current of 15 amps. This makes the Cebora Bravo 2235-T very suitable for body repair professionals who have to weld thin sheets on a car.

Advantages of Cebora MIG welding

MIG welding is a relatively simple welding technique that is made easy with a Cebora MIG welding machine. The wire input is smooth and can be adjusted continuously. Each welding cycle can be completed within the set time thanks to the standard integrated welding limiter. The various adjustment possibilities for the welding current and the required amperage make the welder suitable for all welding activities. Cebora also supplies accessories such as the Cebora 150 WK welding torch, which can be installed on all Cebora welding machines.
