• With the Tormek T-4 you have access to a high-quality machine that is ideal for home and hobbyists. The machine gives you access to the extensive Tormek system of sharpening templates and can sharpen practically all common sharp tools.
• The Tormek T-4 is an upgrade to the T-3 model, taking precision and stability to the next level. Crucial functions, such as the motor and shaft are housed in the top made of cast zinc. It also features integrated sleeves for universal support. This advanced design ensures unsurpassed precision for the universal support, which is used for all grinding jigs and accessories.
• Like the larger models, the T-4 is equipped with the original Tormek grinding stone. This stone combines efficient steel removal, smooth surface finish and long life. With the included gradation stone you can change the surface of the grinding stone from a 220 grit to a 1000 grit surface, giving you two grinding options in one stone.
• The T-4 is great for sharpening chisels, knives, scissors and other small tools such as wood cutting tools. This machine can also be used for turning tools and drill bits, but for planing irons and profiling knives we recommend one of the larger Tormek machines. Please note that some models of gouges cannot be honed with the SVD-186 due to the compact shape of the T-4. These gouges can be picked up by hand.
• The motor can be used continuously for up to 30 minutes each time. This is usually more than sufficient for domestic use, but if you have more grinding work to do, then we recommend you also look at the larger Tormek machines, which can run continuously
• The Tormek T-4 comes with the SP-650 gradation stone, the WM-200 angle setting jig, PA-70 wet paste, the EM-15 edge marker to color the bevel when setting the cutting angle, and the Tormek Manual on Grinding. Configure the T-4 with the grinding jigs of your choice, depending on the tool you wish to sharpen (sold separately)
• Because the sleeves of the universal support are now cast in the zinc top, together with the new holes in stage form (patent pending), they ensure that the precision compared to the T-3 is 300% improved.
• The lever makes it easy to move and position the machine. As a result, you will not be tempted to accidentally lift the machine by the universal support.

• Including gradation stone (because you need it): Regardless of the tool you are sharpening, you will need a gradation stone. That is why it is included. Use this stone regularly so that you always have a fresh grinding stone. In addition, with the gradation stone you get two different sharpening processes (fast/fine) out of your whetstone!
