Versatile and powerful: the hammer drill!
With a hammer drill, the typical beating motion of the drill is generated electropneumatically. This particularly strong drill is mainly used when holes need to be made in stone or stony material.
Powerful hammer function
The hammer drill features a much more powerful hammer function compared to an impact drill. In addition, applying pressure to the machine while working is not necessary. This makes the use of hammer drills much lighter than handling an impact drill. If you work with concrete, you would also be wise to use such a machine, simply because of the (much) greater impact force. Those who work with the smaller hammer drills, drill the same small diameters as with a standard impact drill.
Versatile in use
A hammer drill is versatile and sometimes equipped with only one (hammer) stand. The drill or chisel does not rotate in that case.
