The Kyoritsu 6024PV is a multifunctional insulation resistance and earth resistance tester especially for PV installations. Due to the measuring technique used, the insulation resistance can be measured without shorting the strings. Therefore, this measurement is safer and the measurement can also be carried out during the day without obscuring the panels. The tester is IP54 and suitable for use in adverse weather conditions. The compact design and lightweight construction makes the tester convenient to use. The display, which is also backlit, shows not only the measured value but also the duration of the measurement. The tester is suitable for PV installations up to 1000V and has a memory for 1000 measurements. The measurements can be processed on the PC with the included KEW Report software.
